Prelim is run by [Legal entity name — owner to fill] (“we”, “us”, “the Prelim team”). By using the site you agree to these terms.

Prelim is in private beta. Features may change, pause or stop without notice, and results or share links may be removed. The service is free during the beta; paid plans are coming soon, and no payment is taken on this site. Any paid plan will come with its own terms before you are asked to pay.

You must be at least [minimum age — owner/counsel to decide] to use the service.

Every result is an automated estimate made from photos. It is not an official grade, label or certification, and no grading company has seen your card. A grading company may grade the same card differently, or decline to grade it.

Results include a confidence figure and may be marked “Needs review” or “Not enough slab data yet”. Read them. You are responsible for any decision to submit, buy, sell or price a card. See the grading disclaimer.

Prelim is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PSA, Beckett (BGS), CGC, TAG, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon is a trademark of its owners. Company and card names are used only to describe what an estimate refers to.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to produce your report, show you the results and run the service. How we handle them is set out in the privacy policy.

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. If you create a share link, anyone with the link can see that result until you revoke it.

Please do not:

• upload anything other than photos of trading cards, or anything unlawful or harmful;
• present an estimate as an official grade, for example in a listing or sale;
• try to break, overload, scrape or get around limits or security on the service;
• use the service to build a competing dataset or product.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

Price figures come from third-party market sources, such as TCGplayer market prices and PriceCharting, and are shown with their source and date. They may be out of date or incomplete, they are not an offer to buy or sell, and they are not investment advice. We do not control those sources.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, especially during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate, identification or price will match a real-world outcome. [Final warranty wording — counsel to confirm]
