Privacy policy

What we collect when you use the beta, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: card photos to make your report, a name and email if you sign up, and no ad trackers.

What we collect

This policy covers Prelim, run by [Legal entity name — owner to fill] (“we”, “the Prelim team”). This is what we collect:

  • Card photos you upload: front and back, and corner close-ups if you add them.
  • The results produced from those photos, including any share links you create.
  • Name and email (and the time you signed up), only if you fill in the beta signup form.
  • Theme preference (light or dark), kept in your own browser’s local storage, not sent to us.

How we use it

Photos are used to identify the card and produce your report: the estimate per company, the evidence behind it, prices and the “worth grading?” read. Your name and email are used only to contact you about the beta.

Where it is stored

Photos are processed, and signup details are stored, on the operator’s own server. [Server location / country — owner to fill]

How long

Sharing

Your results page is reached through an unguessable one-time link. During the beta you cannot create public share links yourself; if the operator shares a result for you, ask [contact email] to revoke it.

Prices shown in a report are fetched from third-party market sources, such as TCGplayer market prices and PriceCharting, and shown with their source and date. [Hosting or other service providers, if any — owner to list]

Your choices

Children
